North American Node

The North American Node is a collaboration between Canada and the United States of America. Currently, Canada serves as the lead and the Meteorological Service of Canada coordinates all RCC functions for the Node’s domain. The institutions in these countries that support and contribute to the Node include:

  • Canada: Canadian Ice Service, Canadian Centre for Meteorological and Environmental Prediction (CCMEP).Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC);
  • USA: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA, National Weather Service Alaska)
